I came across Design Data Manager back in 2000. Since then I have recommended it,
implemented it, used it, and became a believer of it after having been administrator for
other PDM products (AM Workflow, Workmanager, TeamWorks, TeamManager and Pro
Intralink).

I recommended Design Data Manager to a company I worked for back in 2000 to control
our Pro E files. The company chose Pro Intralink instead. I became administrator for Pro
Intralink and we implemented it. It was a 6 month learning curve and we had problems
getting the users to use it. Management was not very happy with their return on
investment (ROI) or the length of the learning curve.

I then won a contract from a major defense contractor for an Aerospace Company I
worked for. I started the Design Engineering group from scratch and I bought Design Data
Manager as I needed to control Pro E files and SolidWorks both and to get them up and
running immediately. I had the users up and running after the first week of implementation
of Design Data Manager. In addition to controlling Pro E and SolidWorks, I used it to
control AutoCad, PADDS (ECAD), MS Office, Email's, and other projects as well.

The Defense Contractor Project Managers used the DDM Web we had set up to check
our progress and to gain data for their weekly meetings they had. The DDM Web also
allowed them to print drawings, view models all through a secure web based browser.

This worked out well for both companies and it was after this contract that I became the
Value Added Reseller (VAR) for Design Data Manager.

I have seen Design Data Manager develop since 2000 when I first looked at implementing
it. I have used it since DDM 2003 and it has developed into a leading PDM product.

Below are some key DDM customers and brief description of what they use DDM for. DDM
has customers all over the world and is growing every year!
